What we do at Detectify
Detectify was born from the simple idea that the internet is broken. Our founders are among the best ethical hackers in the world - having hacked tech giants such as Google, Facebook, or Dropbox - and aim to share their findings with the rest of the world in order to make the internet a safer place.
Built on ethical hacker knowledge, Detectify offers a web application security scanner that automates hacker attacks to help businesses stay safe. We collaborate with over 150 handpicked white-hat hackers to continually help clients like Episerver, Trello and Spotify make their websites more secure.
First US office
We are opening our very first office abroad and we decided that Boston is the perfect location. Being part of the US launching team involves partaking in building a startup within a startup and taking the lead as one of the first members of the Detectify family abroad.
Our sales team
The sales team is responsible for bringing in new Enterprise clients on board through outbound reach out. Our Enterprise segment is expected to grow by 5x during 2019 and to reach that goal, we are looking to build our US sales team to deliver great results.
In Boston, the team consist of 7 highly experienced sales people with a strong background in Software sales and development.
Role and responsibilities
Our Business Development Representatives will play a key role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
As a Business Development Representative, you will get to:
- Identify new outbound leads by researching accounts and identifying key players
- Source new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Maintain and expand the prospect database
- Set a structured process and define activity KPIs for identifying leads and delivering opportunities
Who you are
You need to be creative in identifying new ways to find leads, including analysing data, utilising tools and organising your work following structured sales processes. Desirably, you would have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, which means that you have worked with lead generation, qualification and cold calling on a daily basis.
Ideally, you have previously worked in a high-performing tech startup where you thrived in a self-managed environment. You are interested in constantly learning and improving your sales skills and approach.
